It was pretty easy to analyze content performance when you were just looking at volume-based single metrics. It became alot more difficult when it became clear that those were as outdated as the failing CPM model. As journalists were charged with producing content to assure the engagement and loyalty of their audiences, the challenge became how to measure that to determine which content was achieving its goals. This required taking a large number of social signals, and making sense of them with a Scored Analytic that could be acted upon. This is what Content Insights has done.
